Interface Connection Characteristics ofExplosive Welded Aluminum-Aluminum-Steel Composite Plate

Abstract: Explosive welding technology was used to prepare a composite plate consisting ofa 5 083 aluminum alloy cover plate,B steel substrate, and a 1 0 6 0 pure aluminum intermediate layer. The microscopic structure and composition of the composite plate interface were studied through instrumental analysis.The experimental results indicatethatintheexplosive weld jointregion,intermetaliccompoundssignificantly increasedtheoverallhardness of the interface, with the maximum hardness observed at the metal compound at the aluminum-steel bonding interface.This aluminum-steel composite plate successfully combines the corrosion resistance and lightweight advantages of aluminum alloy with the high hardness and wear resistance benefits of steel.
