Abstract:Organic fertilizer plays animportantroleintheformationofappleyieldandfruit quality.Camelliaoleifera seedcakeistheresidualofCamelliaoleiferaseedafteroilextraction.Camelliaoleiferaseedcakeisrich in polysaccharides,crude protein,oilandother nutrients,butwhetheritcanbeusedasanorganicfertilizerforfruittree production is yet unknown.In this study,'Shoufu 3','Fuji',and'Yanfu 10′ apple varieties are used as test materials,and diferentamountsofCamellaoleiferaseedcakeareappiedtoapple tresandtheir effectsonfruit qualityaredetected to explore the potentialofusing Cameliaoleifera seed cake as anorganic fertilizerinorchards.The amountofCamellia oleifera seed cake used for one apple tree are set as follows: O,1.5,2.5, 3.5kg per plant. The results show that compared withthetreatment without Camellaoleifera sed cake,theuseofCamella oleifera seed cake significantly improves the appearance quality of apple fruit.Among the treatments,the application of 3.5kg per tree performs the most notable improvements insingle fruit weight,,fruit shape index,glossiness,andcolordifference index.However,while the applicationofCameliaoleifera seed cakecanaffct the fruit firmness,thecontents of soluble solidsandorganic acid to some extent,the generalimpactoninnerqualityarenotsignificant.Inconclusion,theapplicationofcamelliaoleifera seedcakecanenhance fruit qualitycomprehensively,indicating itspotentialasasustainableorganic fertilizerfor fruit tree production.
