Abstract：Liaogeng-154Oisanew late-maturingricevarietydevelopedbytheLiaoningRiceResearch Institutethrough crossbreedingwith Yanfeng-47asthe femaleparentand the F1 generationofKoshihikari riceandLiaogeng-9asthemaleparent.It wasapprovedbytheLiaoningCropVarietyAppovalCommiteinO2O.Tisvarietyfeatureshighyield，goodqualityesistanceto riceblastandstrongresistancetolodgingof thestems.IissuitableforcultivationincoastalricegrowingareassuchasDalianand Dandong inLiaoningProvince，aswellasinicegrowingareasatthsamelatitude.ForteghyieldultivationofLiaogng-540， onthebasisofcultivatingstrongseedlings，timelyandearlytransplantingshouldbecariedout，reasonableplantdensityshouldbe maintained，sienificatendfertilraagementsouldeucted，detionsouldbepaitoetielyptio control of diseases and pests.
