Abstract Taking a project of high-temperature steam treatment for medical waste asanexample，the paper systematicaly explainstheprocessdesignandkeyqupmentselectionofthehightemperaturesteamtreatmentsystem，andquantitativelyanalyzes theconsumptionchractersticsofta，electricityanderpublicilitiesduringthetreatmentpross.etehicaladoomic advantagesofhigh-temperaturesteamtechnologyaredemonstratedbyomparingtheincinerationprocesesofthesamesaleinterms ofcoreindicatorssuchasequipmentinvestment，landarea，andpowerconsumption.Basedonthetestrundataoftheproject，the stability and reliability of the system operation have been verified.
