Abstract Inresponse to thesignificantincrease in waterinflowanddeteriorationof groundwaterenvironmentcaused by undergroundkarstchannelsinaSandonggoldmine,acomprehensiveexplorationofthecutainaxiswater-conductingchaelswas carried outbyusingtheinducedpolarizationdetectionmethodandshallowseismicmethod.Throughgeophysicaldatainterpretation anddrilingvification,treestrongwater-enrichednomalouszonesandonemediumpermeableanomalousznewereidentifid,nd thecorelationeteenfracturestructures(FF4,1O,tc.)andwaterconductinghaelsasevealed.Tesultssowatt shallowseismicmethodcanacuratelylocatethefracturesstem(verticalfracturedistaneof\~30m),andtheinducdpolazation depthdetectionmethodcanefectivelydelieates thepermeablezone(burialdepthof40\~2Om),whichprovidesareliablebasisfor the water sealing treatment in the mine area.
