AbstractBuilding Information Modeling(BIM)technologyprovidesabasic framework fordigital designbyconstructing threedimensional informationmodelsofmunicipalengineeringfacilities,equipment,andpipelines.TakingtheShenzhenQianhaiUnit -8 municipalroadprojectasacasestudytispapersystematicallelaboratesonteBtechnologsystem,deliverysandardsndte applicationincollborativedesignandinteligentanalysis.ThestudyshowsthatBMtechnologycanintuitivelypresentthespatial layoutofcomplexpipelines throughhigh-precisionmodellingandvisualcollboration,andoptimizethedesignconflictthrough colisiondetection,reducetheconstructionchangerate,andefectivelycontroltheprojectcost.Thetechnologycanalsodeply integrategeogaphicinformationsystem(GIS)andhydraulicsimulationtols,realizedynamicasesmentof stormrain waterlogging risk,and provide scientific decision-making support for municipal water supply and drainage design.
