AbstractBuilding Information Modeling（BIM）technologyprovidesabasic framework fordigital designbyconstructing threedimensional informationmodelsofmunicipalengineeringfacilities，equipment，andpipelines.TakingtheShenzhenQianhaiUnit -8 municipalroadprojectasacasestudytispapersystematicallelaboratesonteBtechnologsystem，deliverysandardsndte applicationincollborativedesignandinteligentanalysis.ThestudyshowsthatBMtechnologycanintuitivelypresentthespatial layoutofcomplexpipelines throughhigh-precisionmodellingandvisualcollboration，andoptimizethedesignconflictthrough colisiondetection，reducetheconstructionchangerate，andefectivelycontroltheprojectcost.Thetechnologycanalsodeply integrategeogaphicinformationsystem（GIS）andhydraulicsimulationtols，realizedynamicasesmentof stormrain waterlogging risk，and provide scientific decision-making support for municipal water supply and drainage design.
