Abstract： Carbon emission measurement can provide important data support for the research of major and mediumsizedmaintenanceand preventive maintenance projectsof nationaland provincial trunk lines，andhas importantresearch significancefortheformulationofenvironmentalpoliciesandtheconstructionofecologicalcivilizationinsouthernShaanxi. Diagnoseand evaluate the carbon emisions of major and secondary maintenance and preventive maintenance projects of nationaland provincial trunk highways insouthern Shaanxi，study thecarbon emisionsofvariousstagesof highway maintenanceprojectsinsouthern Shaanxibasedontheentirelifecycle，developasetofcarbon emision factors suitable forsouthern Shaanxi，andconstructacarbon emisioncalculationmodel suitableforsouthern Shaanxi toachieveaccurate estimation of local carbon emissions.
