Study on the Mineral Phase Control Mechanism of Ceramsite Preparation Based on the Synergy of Steel Slag and Waste Catalyst

Abstract:Stlslagisadiiculttotreatmetalurgicalsolidwastecontaininghighsiliconandhigh-speedrail,ifalarge amountofstelslagisusedtoprepareceramsite,itisasytocausetheoxidationand precipitationofquartzphase,increase the internal stress ofceramsite,lead to crackingandreduce their strength.The experimentaddsraw materials rich in calcium,magnesium,and aluminum to steel slag ceramsite with a steel slag content of 60 % ,and improves the performance ofsteelslagceramsitebyadjustingthemineralphaseoftheceramsite.Duringthis proces,diferentraw materialsareadded to prepare steel slagceramsiteunderdiferentsintering temperatureconditions,andthe mechanismof phasecontrolof steel slag ceramsiteis studiedthroughanalysis methods such asphysical property testing,X-RayFluorescence spectrometer (XRF),and X-Ray Difraction(XRD).Theresearchresults indicatethatadding high siliconandaluminumraw materials with a dosage of less than 30 % to the steel slag ceramic body has little effect on the final mineral phase and sintering temperatureoftheceramsite.However,withtheincreaseofdiopsidecontent,thecompresivestrengthandwaterabsorption of ceramsite significantly improve.When 20 % diopside is added to steel slag ceramsite,its performance is optimal,with a sintering temperature of ,a flexural strength of 5 0 . 3 M P a ,and a water absorption rate of 0 . 5 8 % :
