【Abstract】ObjectiveTo analyze the reasons for the inconsistency between rapid intraoperative pathological diagnosis and postoperative parafin section pathological diagnosis of pulmonarymasses，and topropose an optimal scheme.MethodsThe clinicopathological data of intraoperative frozen sectionpathological diagnosis of pulmonarymassescollected from Departmentof Pathology，F(xiàn)irstAfilited Hospitalof XiamenUniversityfrom June 2022 to June 2O23 werecollected，and thecases with inconsistentintraoperative rapid pathological diagnosis and postoperative pathological diagnosis were analyzed.ResultsThe coincidence rate of intraoperative rapid pathological diagnosis and postoperative pathological diagnosis was 99.38% （1 611/1 621），which reached the standard of diagnosis and treatment in the industry.Therapid intraoperative pathological diagnosis of lung masses wasinconsistent with thatof postoperative paraffinsections in 1O cases.Intraoperative and postoperative pathological diagnosis didnot match：intraoperative diagnosis was malignant，postoperative diagnosis was benign in 3cases;Intraoperativediagnosis was benign，postoperativediagnosis was malignant5cases;Both intraoperativeand postoperative cases were diagnosed as malignant，and the disease type was inconsistent in 2 cases.Conclusion Thereasons for the incompatibility between rapid pathologic diagnosis of pulmonary masses and postoperative pathological diagnosis of parafin sections include：diagnosis，sampling and filmproduction.Such inconsistencies can be reduced by strengthening the training of pathologists，improving the technicallevel of pathologists，optimizing the pathologic workflow and introducing new technologies.
