Abstract:Thisstdplodpressurizedtomdraxforteacidificationtreatmentofdocumentstocevelog-lastingpreation ofpaper-baseddocuetsitialloraxastrasfoedtocoddropletsthoughepreudtomzatioodich weretheaplidasadeacidifyingagentforpaperdeacidificationThestudyprimarilyfcusedoninvestigatingthinfluencepateofe acidificatiotioraocetrationdpdirpreseoacidiaifetiesfppr.esultsowdader the conditions of a deacidification time of 48 minutes,a borax mass concentration of 10g/L ,and an applied air pressure of ( ).75kg/cm2 ,the pH valueofthetreatedpaperincreasedfrom3.84to7.61.Moreover,thebreakinglengthandtearindexofthepaperrosefromtheoriginal valuesof1.26mnd2.1·2/g to1.46kmad2.65/g,espctivelyAdditioall,caningeleconmicrosop(SE)observationsrevealedthatesurfaceoftepaperfibersbecamesmooterafterdeacidificationtreatment.Sincetedropletscanremainsuspendedintheairforaextendedperiod,this metodalsohldscertainapplicationprospctsforlarge-scaledeacidificationofpaper.
