Abstract： Daily inspection is of great significance to ensure the safe and stable operation of water plants.Withthe continuousdevelopmentandapplicationofautomationand intellgent technology，intelligent inspection has been proposed andhas become increasinglypopular，providing innovative solutions for thesafe operationof water plants.Inthe process of continuous developmentanditerationofintellgentinspection，thedemandforumanresoures is graduallyreduced，which significantly promotes theconstruction processoflow-manpower/unmanned water plants.Basedonthedevelopmenttrendof inteligentinspection，thispapersummarizesfourmainstreammethodsofintellgentinspectionatpresent，andcomparesand analyzesdiferent intellgentispectionmethodsinmanyaspects，soastoprovidereferencefor watereterprises tocientifically plan the operation mode of intelligent water plant.
