[Abstract]Asglobalenvironmental polutionintensifies，the healthimpactsofparticulatemater（PM） havegarnered significantatention.PMentersthelungsthroughtherespiratorytract，trigeringaseriesofpathologicalchangesandprofoundly afectinghuman metabolicprocesss.Thisreviewsummarizestheapplicationsof metabolomics technologyininvestigating lung injuriescausedbydiferentPMcategoriesandtheinterventionswithChinesemedicine，aiming touncoverpotentialbiomarkersof PM-induced lung damage and elucidatethe protective mechanisms of Chinese medicinethroughregulationof metabolic pathways. Bysyntheiingurrntresearchisvieidentifscriicalliitationsicdinghomogeneityiniosapleselectioiiicant variabilityinreseachocoesandcalengesidatainterpretatioFutureivestigaiosouldprioriteultiicsintated analysisplatforms，promotetheintegrationofmetabolomicswithChinesemedicine，therebyprovidingnovelperspectivesand methodologies for preventing and treating PM-induced lung injuries.
