Clinical study on the improvement effects of electroacupuncture at Jingzhuibing acupoints on neck muscle stiffness in patients with acute unilateral pain of neck type of cervical spondylosis

[Abstract]Objective To explore the efects of electroacupunctureat Jingzhuibing acupoints onneck muscle stiffessand clinical effcacyinpatientswithacuteunilateralpinofnecktypeofcervicalspondylosis（NTCS）MetodsAtotalof16patients withNTCStreatedatYueyangHospitalofChinese MedicinefromApril2O23to September2O24wereenroledandrandomly dividedintoanobservationgroup （electroacupunctureatJingzuibingacupoints）andacontrolgroup （electroacupunctureatJigjiaji acupoints），with58casesinachgroup.Bothgroupsreceived10daysoftreatment （oncedaily3Ominuesperssion）ear wavevelocity（SWV）ofneckmuscleultrasoundelastographythevisualanaloguescale（VAS），andtheneckdisabilityindex（NDI） werecomparedbetweentwogroupsof patientsbeforeandaftertreatmentTheNDIwasalsoevaluatedata3-monthfolow-up.And thecorrelationbetwenNDIimprovementandSWVreductionwasanalyzed.ResultsAftertreatment，theSWVvaluesof the trapezius，cervical hemispinae，andbrachiocephalis muscles，aswellastheVandNsoresofbothgoupsdecreasdpared to those before treatment （ P- 005）.Duringthe3-monthfollw-upafterthecompletionof treatment， the NDI score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group （ P <0.05）.After treatment， there was a significantpositivecorelationbetweenthereductionvaluesofNDIscoresandthereductionvaluesofSWVinthetrapezius， semispinalis cervicis，and splenius capitis muscles in both groups （ P-
