Research ofLeachate Membrane Concentrate Treatment Technologies

Abstract: [Purposes] The increasing and dificult-to-treat leachate membrane concentrate has become a challnge in hazard-free treatment of solid waste,requiring suitable treatment methods.[Methods] Given the complex water quality characteristics,poor biodegradability,high saltnity and organic load of leachate membrane concentrate,this study reviews domestic and international research,evaluates the advantages and disadvantages of traditional methods,as wellas widely studied techniques like coagulation, advanced oxidation,and membrane treatment while analyzing the potential of each process in resource recovery.[Findings] Traditional methods are simple to operate but cause significant pollution. Coagulation has low costs but shows limited efectiveness as a stand-alone treatment.Advanced oxidation and membrane treatment demonstrate superior treatment efficiency but higher costs.[Conclusions] Existing treatments each have their own advantages and disadvantages.Combined treatment can complement each other's strengths to achieve better results.
