Top Cutting and Pressure Relief Technology of Pre-fracturing Blasting and Reasonable Selection of Top Cutting Parameters

Abstract:[Purposes] This study aims to address the issue of the 131105 working face mining affecting the use of the central roadway in a coal mine,by using pre-fracturing blasting technology to cut off the stress from the mined area and transfer it to the mined area sideways,thus ensuring the normal use of the central roadway.The optimal parameters for cuting-top relief are proposed to achieve the best relief effect.[Methods] This study analyzes the cuting-top relief mechanismand derives the basic scheme for cutting-top relief through theoretical analysis and engineering analogy.The analysis is conducted using the FLAC3D software at different heights and angles to obtain the optimal cutting-top height and angle,
thereby verifying the rationality of the basic scheme.[Findings] The study shows that the cutting-top angle should not be too large nor too small,with the optimal angle being .As the cutting-top height increases,the degree of stress concentration on the side of the mined area gradually decreases.When the cutting-top height exceeds 2 5 m ,the degree of stress concentration changes litle. Ultimately,a cuttingtop height of 2 5 m is chosen.[Conclusions] By pre-fracturing blasting on the side of the working face and selecting reasonable cutting-top parameters,it is possble to effectively cut off the stress transfer from the hard roof and reduce the peak support pressure, thereby achieving the goal of protecting the side roadway,which providesreferenceand guidance forsimilarmines.
