[Abstract]Oral squamous cellcarcinoma (OSCC)is a common malignant tumor in the oral and maxillofacial region, and accurate staging ofcervical lymph nodes is crucial for treatment planning of this disease.Preciseclinical staging can prevent unnecessary neck dissctionsandpostoperative complications.However,traditional imaging techniques mainly relyon the sizeand morphologyoflymphnodes toassesstheirnature,leading tosubjectivebiases.Toprovidemoreobjectiveand accurate data,radiomicsconverts images intoquantitative variables thatcanbe processedbysoftware.Inthis study,theapplication of radiomics in the advancementof cervical lymph node metastasis in OSCC isreviewed.By employing radiomic techniques,healthcare professionalscanutilizequantitativedata toevaluate the natureoflymph nodes and tailor more personalized treatment plans based on these results.
