Abstract: The resonance phenomenon of sucker rod of progressive cavity pump(PCP)may lead to a decrease in the bearing capacity of the drive unit,a decrease in the sealing between the tubing and the oil pol,and accidents such as eccentric wear and breakage of the sucker rod.It has become the main factor afecting the safe operation of the pump.During the production,resonance can be avoided by controling the working speed of he sucker rod.However,the calculation of theoretical resonance speed maybe deviant due to the actual working conditions.This paper presents a method for identifying the resonance speed of PCP based on vibration signal feature extraction.A resonance speed vibration test of surface direct driving PCP was carried out to build a dataset of vibration signals under variable speed conditions.Then,by introducing the evaluation method-standard score(Zscore),the kurtosis factor was selected as the resonance speed feature identification indicator.On this basis,a vibrationsignal denoising method based on empirical mode decomposition (EMD)wavelet was proposed to achieve effctive extraction of resonance state feature information of PCP,thereby improving the actual resonance speed identification accuracy.The research results provide technical support for the safe and stable operation of PCP.
