Abstract:Satellite-based automatic dependent surveillance broadcast(ADS-B)has effectively solved the problem that terrestrial-based stations cannotcover the global airspace,butit stillfaces challenges suchas long satelite-ground propagation distance,large atenuation,multiple beam coverage targets,and serious signal conflicts.A digital phasedarray antenna with 25elementsand19 sub-beams evenly distributed is designed to solve the problemof serious signal conflict and high probability of aircraft missing detection.First,clustering using representatives is performed on the samples,and then nonlinear optimization of beam direction and coverage areais performed according to the results,in order to reduce signal conflict and improve aircraft detection probability.The simulation results show that the detection probability of aircraft is increased by 9%- 13% ,the calculation time is decreased by 87%-95% ,and the figure of merit is increased by 85%-94% (204 compared with the existing research algorithm.
