Abstract:The effectiveness evaluation of hyperspectral satelltes is an important part of hyperspectral remote sensing satelites development,holding significant practical implications for their design,development, and in-orbit efectiveness monitoring.Efectiveness analysisand modeling serve as the initial step in conducting aneffectiveness evaluationof hyperspectral remote sensing satelites.To tackle this issue,firstly,typical spaceborne hyperspectral remote sensing imagers isintroduced.Then,the efectiveness indicators for hyperspectral target detection is dissectedandadeepanalysis of thekey factors isconducted that influence the effectiveness of hyperspectral satelite-based ship target detection.Meanwhile,the factors that impact the effectiveness of ship target detectionare quantified.Taking the target detection probabilityas an example,a framework for the target detection efectiveness model is established.Subsequently,experimental analysis and model validation are performed using two publicly available ship target datasets,respectively,demonstrating the rationalityand validityof the constructed model.Thiswork holds significant importance for evaluating the effectiveness of hyperspectral satellite-based ship target detection.
