Abstract：To explore the technologyofusingshafttoassstconstructioninsuper-long highway tunnel，thearticle makesa studyonthe projectdesign，shaftconstructionmethod，constructioofshaft totunel，andcomesthefolowing conclusions：It isfeasibletouseshaftstoauxliarymain tunnelconstructioninextremelylonghighwaytunnelsundercomplexgeological conditions.Usingthe"mainshaft method"andtheinitialsupport structureofconcrete，full-envelopeconstruction methodcan safelyandeficientlycompletetheexcavationofshaftsandtheconstructionofturning tunnelsThesuccesfuluseofshaftsto ssistintheconstructionofthemaintunnelinChangning Tunnelhasfullyverifiedthetechnical feasibilityandconomic applicabilityofusing verticalshaftstoasistintheconstructionofthemain tunnelinextremelylongtunnelsundercomplex geological conditions. The findings may serve as practical guidelines for similar engineering applications.
