Abstract:To explore the technologyofusingshafttoassstconstructioninsuper-long highway tunnel,thearticle makesa studyonthe projectdesign,shaftconstructionmethod,constructioofshaft totunel,andcomesthefolowing conclusions:It isfeasibletouseshaftstoauxliarymain tunnelconstructioninextremelylonghighwaytunnelsundercomplexgeological conditions.Usingthe"mainshaft method"andtheinitialsupport structureofconcrete,full-envelopeconstruction methodcan safelyandeficientlycompletetheexcavationofshaftsandtheconstructionofturning tunnelsThesuccesfuluseofshaftsto ssistintheconstructionofthemaintunnelinChangning Tunnelhasfullyverifiedthetechnical feasibilityandconomic applicabilityofusing verticalshaftstoasistintheconstructionofthemain tunnelinextremelylongtunnelsundercomplex geological conditions. The findings may serve as practical guidelines for similar engineering applications.
