Abstract:Anew typeof high molecular polymeranti-crack densifier(PRC)is used to improve theanti-crack performance of concrete.Inordertoevaluateitsinfluenceonthemechanical propertiesofconcrete,12 testgroups withtwostrengthgrades weresetup,andtheinfluenceof PRContheaxialcompresive mechanical propertiesofconcretewasanalyzed.Basedonthe experimental results,the constitutiveequationof PRC modified concretewasestablished,andthecalculation formulas for relevant parametersweregiven.Theresultsshow thattheaxialcompressivefailure characteristicsof modified concreteare basically consistent with those of ordinary concrete;the compressive strength of concrete increases by 18.8%-28.9% and the elastic modulus increases by 5.8%- 12.4% within the low dosage range as the dosage of PRC increases, and they are approximately linearly related; the proportional limit increases by about 5%-10% and is positively correlated with the dosage; thepeak straindecreasesslightlyandisnegativelycorrelatedwiththedosage;theductilitydecreasesasthedosageincreases, with a maximum reduction of 10.1% ,but it still meets the ductility requirements of ordinary concrete;the stress - strain responsecurveofPRC modifiedconcrete is basicallconsistentwiththeexperimentalresults;PRCimproves thephysicaland chemical compactness and crack resistance of concrete at the micro level.
