AbstractTo improve the teaching qualityof the course ofFruit Tree Breeding andcultivateprofessional talents metingthe needs of theconcept of diversified food suppy,the teaching reform of this course guided bythe concept of diversified foodsupply was explored.Thecurrent teaching situation ofFruit Tree Breeding wasanalyzed,The teaching reform measures integrating the concept of diversified food supply were put forward.Research has found that current teaching practicessuffer fromisses suchas lowstudent engagement,insuficient professional skillsamong teachers,an imperfect evaluation system,and limited practical resources.Toaddress these issues,firstly,toupdate teachingobjectives,focusing oncultivating students‘comprehensivequalityandinnovative ability;secondly,to optimizeteaching content andreconstructa breeding knowledgesystem with nutritional qualityasthecore;in addition,adopting diversified teaching methods suchascase analysis and project practice to improve students' practicalability.Meanwhile,strengthening the cooperation between practical teaching and enterprises to provide more practical opportunities for students,and improve the teaching evaluation system.The research showed that integrating theconcept of diversified food supply intothe teaching reformofthe Fruit Tree Breeding course enables fruit tree breding to playa keyrolein fieldssuch asnutritional healthand sustainabledevelopment,and cultivatesmore excellent fruittreebreeding talents with forward-looking vision,innovativeability.Thispaper provides areference for the exploration of teaching reform in professional courses of pomology in the field of agricultural science.
