AbstractToreveal the influenceof differentland useon farmland soil fertility,thispaper took thesoils under threelanduse types (paddy fields,drylands,and orchards)in Shimen County,ChangdeCity,Hunan Province as the researchobject.The pH,organic mater,total nitrogen,alkaline dissolved nitrogen,quick-acting potassiumand efective phosphorus content weredetermined,thechanging lawof thecharacteristicsoffarmland soil fertilityunder different landuse pattern were analyzed,and thesoil fertilityindex was calculatedand gradedusing principal component analysis and weighted membership function.The soilfertility index wascalculated byprincipalcomponent analysisandsubordinate degreefunction weighting,and then graded to provide scientific basis forrational fertilization inthe studyareaand similar areas.Theresults showedthatthesoilfertilitycharacteristics of differentlanduse pattrns in the study area showed large variability,andthe coeficientof variation was larger forquick-acting nutrients than for total nutrients(totalnitrogen).TecontentsofpH,organicmaterandtotalnitrogenindiferentlandusepatternwere paddyfield>dryland>garden field,and thecontents ofalkaline dissolved nitrogen,quick-acting potassiumand ffective phosphorus were garden field>dryland>paddy field.The scores ofcomprehensive soilfertility evaluationshowed thatthe soilfertitylevelwas highinthe gardenanddryland,andmediuminthepaddyfield.The principalcomponentsoiltotal nitrogenhas the highestcontributionrate,andthe weightof soil quick-acting potassium hasthe highestproportion,so the scientificappicationof quick-acting utrients should beemphasized in fertilizer appication.For soil acidification, especiallyinorchardsoil,itisecommendedtoapplymoreorganicfertlizers toincreasetheorganicmaterinthesoil to improve the bufferingcapacityof thesoil againstacidification,andalso to improve thesoil granular structure and permeability.This research providesascientific basis forrational fertilizationinthe studyareaandsimilarregions.
