The predicament and ethical considerations of helping students with mental disorders in college psychological counseling

Abstract：Asan important department to solve students’daily psychological problems，the mental health counseling center in coleges and universities often results inmany practical dilemmas due to the mismatch between theduty limitationand professional ability when facing the help of studentswith mental disorders.From the perspectiveof ethics，thispaper discusses the dificulties in campus management，responsibility alocation and responsibility clarificationfaced by theschool in dealing with student autonomy，home-school coordination，and properly setling the students returning to shool.Inorderto alleviate ethical conflicts and provide some reference for collegesanduniversitiesto intervene and help studentswith mental disorders，the author tries to implement improvement measures byadhering to the concept of rehabilitation to improve autonomy，treating family members as help objects，establishing a complete system and sound regulations，and conducting joint eforts and supportive intervention asistance.This can alleviate ethical conflicts and providecertain references forthe practice of colleges and universities’ intervention and assistance in dealing with students with mental disorders.

精神障礙是以個(gè)體認(rèn)知、情緒調(diào)節(jié)或行為出現(xiàn)臨床上顯著紊亂為特征的一類綜合征，反映了心理功能、生物功能或發(fā)育過程的功能障礙[1]。（剩余8685字）
