Abstract:Near-infrared phosphor-converted light-emiting diodes(NIR pc-LEDs) have demonstrated significant application potentialinthe fieldssuchas plant lightingandbioimaging.The luminescence efciencyand thermal stability of near-infrared phosphors directly determine deviceperformance,emphasizing the importance of developing highlyefficientandthermallystablenear-infraredphosphors.Inthisstudy,wesynthesizedaneficientnear-infrared phosphor, Y3InyGa5-x-yO12:xCr3+ ,with a garnet structure using a high-temperature solid-state method. The emission spectrum ranges from 600 nm to 1O0O nm. By adjusting the In3+ content,we achieved spectral tuning and attained an internal quantum efficiency of up to 95. 8% .Additionally,thephosphorexhibitsexcellent thermal stability.Experimental results show that at 423K,theluminescence intensity remainsat83. 6% ofthe room-temperaturevalue. Finaly,we fabricated high-effciency NIR pc-LEDdevices by combining this phosphor with commercial blue LEDs, achieving anear-infrared output power of 273.5 mWundera 350 mA current drive.These results demonstrate that this series of near-infrared phosphors and NIR pc-LED devices hold high application potential.
