Abstract：Thispaper providesanoverviewofthedevelopmentofthe globalcoalbedmethane industryandthecurentstatus of China'scoalbedmethane industryemphasizingtheimportance of thecoalbedmethane industryFurthermore，the paper discusses theroleofstandardsinthecoalbedmethane industry，includingtheir impact onpromoting industrydevelopment， and improving efficiency andsafetyOnthis basis，thispaperproposesapath forstandardsto promotethehigh-quality developmentofthecoalbedmethane industryincludingimprvingthestandardssystemandstrengtheningtheimplemntation andsupervisionofstandards.Finallytanalyzesthesuccessulexperienceandexistingproblemsofstandardsinptingthe developmentofcoalbedmethaneindustrythroughpracticalcases，summarizestheimportantroleofstandards，anddiscusses the potential and trends of standards in the future development of coalbed methane industry.
