Abstract： In recent years， China's power grid has gradually shifted from traditional operation and maintenance to intelligent operation and maintenance，with the main goal of making the power grid more reliable，eficient，and intelligent.Basedon this，power companies have begun to applyautomatic switchgear tosolve faults in power grid operation and maintenance，inorder to reduce the probabilityoffaults，prevent insulation acidents，strengthen the protection of power gridautomation components，and optimize the inspection of power grid automation switches.This article analyzes the effectivenessof automatic switchgear inpower grid automation operation and maintenance，fully reflecting its advantages，aiming to provide reference for the application of power enterprises.
