Abstract:Aiming to improve themoldingqualityofautomobile airbag covers,this studyconstructedacomprehensive mold designschemetroughteanalysisoftematerialpropertiesofpasticparts,tesientificdesignofpartingsurfacs,andteotiizationofmoldingprocessparameters.Teselectionofmodingequipmentwascariedoutbyconsideringkeyparameterssuchastheinjectionvolumeandclamping forceofthe injection molding machine.Aditionall,theMoldflow software wasutilizedtoconduct indepthresearchonthemoldfilingprocessthroughtechnicalmeans incluinggridpre-processigofplasticparts,analysisofgatepositions,andsimulationofoldflowshemes.Asaresult,theoptimalfilinghemewasdetermined,fectivelyeducingdefectssuch as shorthotsandairtraps,andsignficantlyimprovingthemoldingqualityofproducts.Thisprovidesapracticaltechnicalsolutionfor the high - quality production of automobile airbag covers.
