Abstract：Thispaperfirstoutlinesthecurentappicationstatusofmachine visiontechnologyinthequalityinspectionofautomo tivebrakdiscspointingoutitsimportantsignificanceinpromotingtehigqualitydevelopmentoftheautomotivepartsmanufacturingindustry.Ifocussoteaplicationpntsoftotagspetionrakeduandolearanceinspetionrakepadthick ness and brakingperformaneinspection，positioninspectionandotertechnologies.Theconclusionpintsouthatautomoblemanufacturingenterprisesshouldbeguidedbythedevelopmentneedsof theautomobileindustryestablishamachinevisiontechnology brakediscqualityinspectionsystem，promote enterprises toplayagreaterroleinthe automobile manufacturing system，andcreate modern automobile production enterpriseswith distinctive technical characteristics.
