Abstract:Thissudinvestigatedtheconstantp(0.1mm)cyclicrefiingcharacteriticsofardwoodpulpusingaMD30lowosiste cy experimental disc refiner equipped with straight-bar plates featuring a 22° angle.The result showed that the increase in beating degree of pulpledtoareductioninitsviscositandshearstrainwithintherefiingzone,therebycausingadecreaseitotalrefiingpowerFurther more,therateofpowereductiongraduallyincreasedwiththeelevationofbeatingdegree.Therelativechangesinbeatingdegeeadfiber averagelengthweremploydtocaracterizfibercutingadfibrilaindgeeduringrefing.Arefingoptimizationmtodbasedon quantitativecaracteratioofaermicomoholasevelod,emostratigsifcantcoetnetentetedein inglimitadviosinperstregthpraetersdertroideferesfortharctezatioofloosisteigpo cesses,optimization of plate design,and the high-efficiency,low-energy operation.
