Analysis of PM10 Pollution Characteristics and Its Correlation with Meteorological Elements in Shuozhou City

Abstract Using hourly and daily PM10 concentration data from Shuozhou City from 2016 to 2020, the characteristics of PM10 pollution changes and their correlation with meteorological factors were studied, and a seasonal prediction model for PM10 concentration was established. The results showed that the daily variation of PM10 concentration showed a bimodal distribution, with the concentration gradually increasing in the morning, decreasing in the afternoon, and rising again after sunset. The concentration remained high at night; The seasonal characteristics of PM10 concentration from 2016 to 2020 were winter>spring>autumn>summer; The annual changes are characterized by an increase from 2016 to 2018 and a decrease from 2019 to 2020. There were significant differences in the correlation between PM10 concentration and meteorological factors in different seasons. The PM10 concentration prediction model established using stepwise regression method has good prediction ability, and the prediction effect in summer and autumn was better than that in spring and winter.
