Measures to Address Safety Hazards in Small Reservoirs

Abstract With the rapid development of rural economy and the continuous demand for rural water resources in China， the construction and operation of small reservoirs in rural areas had gradually become an important task. However， in the construction and management process of small reservoirs， there were related safety hazards that may have a serious impact on the safety of the lives and property of surrounding residents and the sustainable development of rural economy. Therefore， it is of great practical significance to scientifically and systematically address the safety hazards existing in small reservoirs. This paper analyzed the safety risks of small reservoirs and the significance of investigation， summarized the safety risks of small reservoirs， and put forward targeted measures for reference.
