Abstract：Inthecurentdomesticspecifications，regardingthebearingcapacityofgroundanchorbolts，onlyrelevant requirementsaremadefortheirpull-outresistanceandnorequirementsaremadefortheshearbearingcapacityofthebolts. Basedonthesupport structureoftheflexuralmemberandthemechanicalcalculation modelof thegroundanchorboltthatonly considersbendingdeformation，thispaperanalyzestheinfluenceofthenumberofgroundanchorbolts，thediameterofthescrew andtheshearstrengthofthescrewmaterialontheshearbearingcapacityofthesupprtwithoutconsideringtheshearkey.Itis concludedthattheshear bearingcapacityprovidedbythegroundanchorboltatthesupportoftheflexural memberismuch greaterthantheshearforcegeneratedbyexteralloadatthesupport.Thisshowsthatitisreasonablethatthespecificationdoes not require the shear capacity of bolts.
