AbstractObjective:Toexploretheaplicationefectofthevirtualmonitoringclinic(VMC)chronicdisease managementmodelinan interet-basedhospitalforpatintswiheumatoidartritsRA)Methods:Atotalof4ORApatientsositedteoutpaticf Xinxiang Central Hospitalfrom April toAugust 2O22 wereselectedasthecontrol groupandreceivedroutine nursingcare.Another40 RApatients whovisitedthesamehospitalfomSeptember2O22toJanuary2023 wereselectedastheobservationgroupandreceivedthe VMCchronicdisease managementmodel.Attheendoftheinterventionandat3,6,9,and1monthsafterinterventiontheDisease Activity Score28(DAS28),VisualAnalogScale(VAS),HealthAssessment Questioaire(HAQ),SelfRatingAxietyScale (A), medicationadherenceandfollowupderenceweecomparedetweetetwogroups.Aditionally,atientsatisfactionithhaltare services was evaluatedat3and12 monthsafterinterventionResults:At9and12 monthsafterintervention,theDA28,VA,HAQ and SAS scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05 ).The between-group,time, and interaction effects forall scores were statistically significant ΔP<0.05 ).Themedication adherence rate and follow-upadherence rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group at 9 and12 months after intervention( P<0.05) .Conclusions: TheaplicationoftheVMCchronicdisease managementmodelinaninternet-basedhospitalforRApatientshelpsaleviatephsical symptoms,reduce their anxiety,improve their adherence,and enhance their satisfaction with healthcare services.
