Abstract:The second classroom of ice and snow sports in colleges and universities is an extension of the traditional iceand snow sports teaching curriculum.Itcan provide students withapractical platform that goes beyond textbooksand plays anauxiliaryand supportiverole in iceand snow sports education incolleges and universities.Under the guidanceof the teaching reform in thenew era,the second classroomof ice and snow sports incollges and universities should improve the practical system of applying what has been learned through “internal”trainingand“external”competitions;integrateacross disciplines comprehensively toguide students from sports literacy towards multiple abilities;infect them with culture and stimulate their creativity through ideologicalidentifcation,soas toachieve multidirectional extension.At the same time,this paperputs forward someessential integration approaches,such as maintaining an organic connection with the first classroom,reexamining the positioningandparticipationapproaches of teachers,emphasizing the balanced unity ofcultivating various abilities,and taking the comprehensive achievements of completedprojects as the evaluation orientation. Bygradually making thesignificance of the second classroomof ice and snow sports incollges and universities

go beyond the scope of ice and snow sports itself,it can shape students’multiple abilities while achieving the integrated convergence of their comprehensive qualities,and become an important force in promoting the all-round development of talents.In this way,it can contribute to the realizationof the grand visions of"revitalizingthe country through talents”and "becoming a strong country in ice and snow sports”.
