Abstract：Japan，China，KazakhstanandKorea arethe topfour countries in theoverallranking of theAsian Winter Games and are powerful countries in Asian ice and snow sports.By drawing on the framework of the SPLISSmodel，thisstudy brieflyreviews thedevelopmentof wintersports inthefour countries.Itis found that the fourcountries havebothcommoncharacteristicsand diferent paths inthereserve talents cultivation for winter sports，and haveestablished competitive sports development systems with theirowncharacteristics.Subsequently， this study compares the strategies of reserve talent scultivation for winter sports in the four countries from aspects such as financialsupport，management system，public participation，guarantees forathletes andcoaches， andscientificand technological support.Inthe future，itis hoped thatby further strengthening thelocalization of international experience，China can optimize the cultivation ofreserve talents for winter sports and explore a sustainable development path that suits the national conditions.Byconstructingacultivation systemdriven bythe dual wheels of"science and technology + humanities”，it can promote the coordinated development of competitive iceand snow sportsand mass sports.On the basis ofcontinuing to maintain China’sstatus asapowerfulcountry in Asianice and snowsports，itcan contribute wisdom to themodernization of the governance systemofAsian winter sports.
