A Blind Equalization Algorithm Based on Kernel Support Vector Machine

Abstract:Toaddress the inter-symbol interference (IS)caused bynon-idealchannel transmissioncharacteristics,a blind equalizationalgorithmbasedonkemelsupportvectormachines (SVM)is proposed.Thisalgorithm introduces theerorfunctionof theconstantmodulusalgorithm(CMA)intothecostfunctionoftesupportvectormachin,mitigatingthphaseoffsetissueofCMA in nonliearchannels.Byconstructing theSVMkemel function using wavelet functions,thecomputationalcomplexityof solving nonlinearproblemsisduced,furthemprovingthecomputationaleficiencyof teblindequalizationalgorithmSimulatioesults demonstrate thatcomparedtotheconstant modulusalgorithmandSVMwithSigmoidkernelfunctions,theSVMwithwaveletkeel functions exhibitsfasterconvergencespeed.Moreover,teblindequalizationalgorithmbasedonthis kemelSVMachieveshigher classification accuracy.
