Abstract：Hyperplasia of mammary glands （HMG） is a common breast disease in female，which belongs to the categoryofmammary hyperplasiain Chinesemedicine.Itsetiology isemotional internal damage，liver-spleen disharmony，binding of phlegmand blood stasis ordisharmonyof the Thoroughfare Vessel and Conception Vessel.The key to thepathogenesis of HMGlies in theabnormal circulationof qi，blood，fluidand humor，qi movement stagnation，phlegm coagulation and blood stasis in the body.The acupunctureand moxibustion based on syndrome differentiationand treatment described inthisarticleis basedonthetheoryofqi，blood，fluidand humor.The therapeutic principles focus onsoothing the liver and regulating the spleen，harmonizing the Thoroughfare Vesel and Conception Vessel，and unblocking local qi and blood circulation.
