YI Jian-chang1 TONG Sheng-hua1 WANG Yi-qun1*LI Chun-wei1 YUAN Hao2 WANG Xin2 （1.Shenzhen Institute of Standards and Technology； 2.China Southern Power Grid Research Institute Co.，Ltd.） Abstrat：[Objective]Tofurtherimprove theexisting power standards inVietnamandaccelerate the integration process between Vietnam's power standards and China's power standards system，this paper analyzes thecurrent status of power construction and the demand for power standards inVietnam.[Methods] It evaluatestheapplicabilityof Vietnam's power standardsfromaspectssuchasthestructuralhierarchyofthepower standardssystem，theadoptionrateandupdaterateof standards，andtheaverage ageofstandards.[Results]The studyfindsthattheexisting power standards inVietnamhave problemssuchasanimperfectstandards system，lowupdaterateofadoptedstandards，andexcesivelylongaverage ageof standards，whichcannolonger mettheneedsofpowerconstructionandeconomic developmentinVietnam.The paperalso puts forward suggestions forthe standardizationofpower inVietnam.[Conclusion]Theresearchresultscan providereference for future development of power standards in Vietnam.
