Traditional Chinese emotional nursing alleviates cancer pain in cancer patients：a Meta analysis

Abstract Objective：To systematically evaluate the effect of Chinese medicine emotional care in relieving cancer pain in tumor patients.Methods：A computerized search was performed on CNKI，WanFang Database，VIP，CBM，PubMed，Web of Science，EMbase，and the Cochrane Library for randomized controlled trials on the treatment of cancer pain in patients with cancer pain by Chinese medicine， and the time frame for searching was from the establishment of the database on August 5， 2023.Two researchers independently screened and extracted data from the included literature， and then performed Meta-analysis by RevMan 5.3 software. Results：Twenty-six papers involving 4 044 patients were included.Meta-analysis showed that there was a significant difference in the Visual Analogue Scale （VAS） （MD=-1.88，95%CI -2.46--1.29，P<0.000 01） and Numerical Rating Scale （NRS） （MD=-0.89， 95%CI -1.31--0.47，P<0.000 1） between the two groups of patients.Conclusion：The available evidence suggests that the use of Chinese medicine emotional nursing based on conventional nursing can reduce the VAS score and NRS score of patients with cancer pain， and can effectively alleviate the degree of patient's pain， which can be popularized and applied in the clinic.
