Summary of best evidence for rehabilitation nursing for low vision patients

Abstract Objective：To systematically evaluate and integrate the best evidence of rehabilitation practice for patients with low vision，and provide guidance for clinical implementation of rehabilitation nursing for low vision patients.Methods：The relevant literature on rehabilitation strategies and care for patients with low vision，including clinical decisions，evidence summaries，guidelines，expert consensus and systematic reviews，was searched by computer from domestic and foreign websites or databases from the establishment of the database to October 31，2022.Results：A total of 27 articles were included，including 3 guidelines，1 expert consensus and 23 systematic reviews，and a total of 43 pieces of best evidence were finally formed in 6 aspects，including pre-implementation preparation，rehabilitation assessment，rehabilitation strategy，rehabilitation intervention measures，health education and follow-up plan.Conclusion：The literature included in this study is of high quality，but most of the included literature came from abroad. In clinical practice，medical staff should translate the best evidence of low vision rehabilitation into clinical practice according to the specific situation and willingness of patients，so as to improve patients′quality of life.
