Abstract Objective:An incremental exercise intervention program for maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients was constructed based on the concept of evidence-based nursing care, and its application effects were explored. Methods:Eighty cases of MHD patients admitted to our hospital from August 2022 to April 2023 were selected for the study, and were divided into a control group (August-December 2022) and an experimental group (January-April 2023) according to the time of consultation, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine care, and the experimental group was combined with an incremental exercise intervention program based on the concept of evidence-based nursing care. After 3 months of intervention, the quality of life and fatigue were compared between the two groups using the Brief Health Questionnaire (SF-36) and the Revised Piper Fatigue Scale (RPFS).Results:After the intervention, the RPFS and the scores of each dimension in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the SF-36 and the scores of each dimension in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:An incremental exercise intervention program based on evidence-based care concepts can reduce fatigue and improve the quality of life of MHD patients.
