Abstract： [Purposes]This paper aims to design a heat engine utilizing the thermoacoustic efect and，on this basis，explore the Second Law of Thermodynamics，comparing it with the Carnot cycle.[Methods] Based on the principle of thermoacoustic effect of in standing wave sound field，aset of thermoacoustic mechanical device with low temperature diffrence between the cold and hot ends and low cost is constructed.The output work is calculated by measuring the parameters such as the frequency and height of the U-tube water column vibration.The theoretical output work and the actual output work，the theoretical efficiency and theactual efciency are compared and analyzed，and the error analysis is performed to identify the problems in the experiment and the areas that need to be improved.[Findings]The designed heat engine can achieve a heat engine efficiency of 6.032% ， which has a certain gap with the theoretical efficiency of 12.382% . However， due to the low temperature difference between the hot end and the cold end of the experimental heat engine，and the cost of a single tube is only within 7 yuan，it can be predicted that there willbe a certain errorbetween the actual eficiencyand the theoretical efficiency.[Conclusions] In subsequent work，the device willbe improved by adjusting the mass of the liquid column and the shape of the U-tube to alter the center of gravity and natural frequency of the output device.At the same time，simulation will be conducted to derive a more optimal experimental scheme.
