Abstract： The total weight of semi-submersible offshore platform is composed of， variable load， lightweight， consumables， anchor chain tension and ballast water. Variable load is an important performance parameter of the platform design. In order to ensure that the variable load of the platform meets the design requirements， during the design and construction of the platform， the whole project construction process shall be strictly controlled from the management， design， procurement and construction aspects to control the weight and center of gravity.
