AbstractAimingatthelowinfluent pollutantconcentrationinurban wastewatertreatment plants，thispaper takesthe W8 wastewatercolectionzoneindowntown Chenzhouasthestudyobject.Basedonmonitoringdataof waterqualityflowinthe pipelinenetwork，theprimarycausesoflowregionalwastewaterconcentrationsignificantexteralwaterintrusion（dry-season intrusion rate reaching 46.99% ） were analyzed. Targeted technical measures were proposed， including pipeline network renovation， externalwaterseparationlocalizedsource-levelstor-wastewaterseparatio.Analysisofextealwaterremovalefectivenes demonstrates thatchemicaloxygendem（COD）inthezone'smainefluent pipelineisexpectedtoincreasefrom78.3mg/Lto 104.2 mg/L after implementation of this proposal. The planned target of 100mg/L will bestablyachieved，thereby effectively enhancing wastewater treatment efficiency water quality.
