【Abstract】 ObjectiveTo compare the diagnostic value of soft tisse imaging (fully flow encoded modulus, FFE/M),vascular imaging (phase contrast angingraphy modulus,PCA/M),and thecombination of PCA/MandFFE/M inthree-dimensional phase-contrast magneticresonancevenography (3D-PC-MRV)forcerebral venoussinus thrombosis.MethodsA total of 26 patients with 234 segments who underwent magnetic resonance venography were included and divided into three groups: PCA/M group,F(xiàn)FE/M group,and PCA/M combined with FFE/M group.Two experienced radiologists independentlydiagnosed thecerebral venous sinus disorders.Statistical analyses,including χ2 test,cross -tabulation,and Kappa analysis,were performed to evaluate the results.ResultsThere were statistically significant differences among the three groups ( P <0.05).Using angiography as the gold standard,the sensitivityof the PCA/M combined with FFE/M group for detecting cerebral venous sinus thrombosis was 97.1% which was higher than that of theFFE/M group,and the diference was statistically significant.The sensitivity for detecting cerebral venous sinus stenosis was 91.7% ,which was higher than that of the PCA/M group,and the difference was statistically significant.The specificity was 99.4% forboth groups,which was higher than that of the FFE/M groupandthe PCA/M group,and thediferences were statisticallysignificant.The Kappa value for agreement with the angiographygold standard was O.958,indicating good consistency.ConclusionIn intracranial venous magnetic resonance imaging,the diagnostic performance of the PCA/M combined with FFE/M approach in 3D-PCMRV is superior to the individual evaluation of PCA/MandFFE/M,making it a preferred method for examination.
