Abstract：To enhance the management level of Perfluoroalkyland Polyfluoroalkyl Substances （PFAS） in China's automotive industry，thispaper studies the production，usage，and managementof PFASsuch asPerfluorooctane Sulfonate（PFOS），PerfluorooctanoicAcid （PFOA），andPerfluorohexaneSulfonicAcid （PFHxS）inChina’sautomotive industry.Itfurtheranalyzes thecurrentchallengesfacedbytheindustry，including thelagging PFAScontrol regulations and the lack of targeted industrystandards.Additionally，this paper proposes governance recommendations to promote PFAS management in China.
