Application research of multifunctional surgical specimen placement box in lymph node dissection surgery

【Abstract】Objective To study the application of multifunctional surgical specimen placement box in lymph node dissection.MethodsOne hundred cases of lymph node dissection in the operating room of our hospital from January 2023to December 2023 were selected as the studyosubjects，and 50cases from January 2023 to June 2023 wereselected asthe control group acording to the chronological order，fiftycases from July2O23 to December 2O23 are the observation group.Lymph node pathological specimens were collcted by traditional curved disk in control group，andbyanew multifunctional device inobservation group.The errorrate，unqualified rate， specimen retention time，specimen checking times and medical satisfaction were compared between observa-tion group and control group.ResultsThe error rateandunqualifiedrate of the observation group were slightly lower than that of the control group，and there was no significant difference between the two groups （ P>0.05 ）. The retention time of a single specimen in the observation group was shorter than that inthecontrol group，andthe check times of specimens were less in the control group，the difference was statistically significant （ P <0.05）. The satisfaction of medicalcare intheobservation group wasbetterthanthatinthecontrol group，the diference was statisticallsignificant （ P <0.05）.Conclusion The multifunctional surgical specimen placement box can improve the eficiency of lymph node specimen processing，reduce the number of specimenspecimens checking and reduce the probability of error in the operation of lymph node dissection.
