Summary of the best evidence for the management of medical adhesion-related skin injuries in critically ill children

AbstractObjective：To systematically evaluate and integrate the best evidence for the management of medical adhesive-related skin injury （MARSI） in critically ill children.Methods：We searched the CNKI，WanFang Database，VIP，PubMed，the Cochrane Library，and other databases，as well as websites such as BMJ Best Practice，Joanna Briggs Institute （JBI） Evidence-Based Health Care Research Centre，National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence，and China Guidelines.We evaluated the quality of the literature and the level of evidence of different types of studies by using the literature evaluation criteria and evidence grading system of the JBI Center for Evidence-Based Health Care in Australia，as well as the expert consensus，expert opinion and guidelines.Results：A total of 14 articles，including 2 expert opinions，4 expert consensus and 8 guidelines，were included in the study，which summarized the 25 best evidence for the prevention of MARSI in critically ill children，including education and training，assessment and monitoring，skin protection，implementation points，and the timing of dressing replacement.Conclusion：Healthcare professionals should standardize the use of medical adhesives based on evidence-based evidence and in the context of critically ill children to reduce the incidence of MARSI.
