Abstract：Inordertoeducetheoveruseofpeatresourcesandiprovetheutilizationrateofgardenwasteresources，thefeasibilityof usinggarden wastecompostasflowercultivationsubstratewas explored.Weselected garden waste，peatandvermiculiteasrawmate rials，mixedthemindiferentproportions，andpreparedsixindsofcultivationsubstrates.TakingViolacoutaseedlingastest plants，potexpeimentsereondutedtosdytediferencsinphsicalandchemicalpropertisoftesixindsofuliatisub stratesandtheirefectsonthegrowthdiferencesofViolacoruta.Theindexes werecomprehensivelycomparedbyentropyweightco eficientandOPSISintegratedcomparisonmethod，andthebstcultivationsubstratewasseleted.Theesultsshowedtatwithte increaseoftheproportionofgardenwastecompost，thepHvalueandECvalueoftheculturemediumincreased，andthbulkdesity andcapillryporosityincreased，whichpromotedthegrowthofCorydalisdecumbens.Tosumup，thebestsubstrateformulaisT treatment，thatis，peat：gardenwastecompost：vemiculite=2：3：1，whichcanbeusedasanalteativesubstrateforthegrowthnd cultivation of Viola cornuta.
